VESA Committees - Committee work is a fun and easy way to support your organization and we have a broad range of committees to satisfy a variety of interests. We welcome all volunteers. Check over our list and contact the chair or the VESA office if you are interested.

Bargaining ? Responsible for surveying members on contractual issues, preparing items to take to the table, electing the negotiations team, and negotiating with the district for our contractual rights.

Constitution/By Laws ? Revising our governing documents for board and membership approval when situations warrant changes. 
     Chair

Elections ? Arranging voting sites, communications, ballots and ballot counting when an election is necessary. Chair

Financial Review ? Conducts an annual review of all financial and banking operations and prepares the financial review report for annual submission to the national union.

Hospitality/Sunshine ? Sends cards or flowers in the event of illness or death in a member?s family, arranges for refreshments for meetings.

Membership ? Conducts membership campaigns, incentive programs, etc. to build membership.

Ways and Means ? Keeps up to date on ideas for fund raising and coordinates fund raisers for the scholarship fund.
